AVIA HD swaps the standard copper heat exchanger for Raypak's NiTek alloy, tested under ASTM G73-10 at 300% better erosion resistance than copper and 200% better than cupro-nickel — the upgrade to reach for on pools with aggressive water chemistry, high bather load, or salt generation. Output, efficiency, and cabinet dimensions match the standard AVIA exactly, so the swap doesn't change footprint or gas/water connections.
