The Adirondack chair earns its place on a pool deck because the deep pitch and wide arms are genuinely comfortable without a cushion, which matters when everyone sitting down is wet. These are molded from UV stabilized resin rather than cut from cedar or teak, so there is no splintering, no annual sanding and sealing, and no graying after a season in full sun.

• Standard is the classic proportion and the safest choice for a mixed group.
• Rocker adds a gentle rocking base, ideal for a covered porch or a quiet corner of the deck.
• Tall raises the seat height, which makes getting in and out noticeably easier and suits taller adults or anyone with knee issues. Some tall models offer an umbrella sleeve so a shade pole drops straight through the chair.
• Fit is a slightly narrower, more compact version for tighter decks and smaller framed sitters.

Living with resin

Resin Adirondacks are heavy enough to stay put in normal wind but light enough that one person can move them to chase the shade. They rinse clean with a hose, they do not absorb pool water, and the colour runs through the material instead of sitting on top as paint, so scuffs do not show as bare spots.
