What AOP is

Advanced Oxidation Process systems generate hydroxyl radicals, one of the most powerful oxidisers available for water treatment, and inject them into the return line. They attack contaminants that chlorine handles slowly or not at all, including chloramines, the compounds actually responsible for red eyes and the smell people wrongly blame on chlorine itself.
