Molded resin means you can leave them within splash range without worrying about rust at the joints or water swelling a wood seat. They rinse clean with a hose, they do not hold puddles the way slatted wood does, and the colour runs through the material so scuffs never show as bare patches. Cushions are available separately for benches if you want a softer surface.
