Outdoor Dining Chairs & Benches

More about Outdoor Dining Chairs & Benches

Dining chairs around a pool get sat on wet, dragged across concrete and left out in the rain. Molded resin handles all three. There is no rusting frame, no sling fabric to sag, no wood joint to loosen, and the colour runs through the material so scrapes from the deck do not show as bare spots.

Side chairs, arm chairs or benches

  • Side chairs are armless, tuck fully under the table and let you seat more people on a given run.
  • Arm chairs are more comfortable for lingering and usually go at the ends of the table.
  • Benches in 25 and 52 inch lengths seat two or three, slide completely out of the way when not in use, and are the best answer for kids.

Getting the fit right

Aim for 10 to 12 inches between the seat and the underside of the tabletop. Any tighter and thighs hit the apron, any looser and the table feels too tall. When mixing chairs and a bench on the same table, check that the seat heights match so nobody ends up sitting low.

Seat cushions are ordered separately for most models, which lets you add comfort where you want it and replace fabric later without buying new chairs.
