Outdoor Ottomans

An ottoman is the cheapest upgrade in outdoor furniture. Put one in front of an Adirondack or a club chair and you have effectively converted it into a chaise lounge for a fraction of what a second lounger costs, with the flexibility to slide it away when you need the floor space back.

Matching an ottoman to a chair

Ottomans are sized to specific chair families, so match the line first. A Legacy Adirondack Ottoman is proportioned for the Legacy chair, and the Mainstay ottomans pair with standard and Fit Adirondacks respectively. Getting the pairing right matters because the seat and ottoman heights are designed to sit level with each other, which is what makes the combination comfortable rather than awkward.

Other uses

Ottomans double as backless perch seating when guests outnumber chairs, as a landing spot for a towel or a tray, and as a low table beside a sofa when topped with a serving board. Because they are molded from UV stabilized resin, leaving them out in the rain is a non event.
