This is the only part of owning a Clear Comfort CCW100 or CCW50 that costs you time: one cartridge, once a year, about five minutes. No tools, no training, no draining.
The system tells you when. The cartridge indicator runs green while the cartridge is in service, turns yellow when it is nearing the end, and red when it must be exchanged. Order at yellow and you never see red.
Two options
- Sustainable (CARTX-CCW102S) — built from repurposed materials and shipped with a pre-paid return label. Send the spent cartridge back within 180 days and Clear Comfort refunds the $100 core deposit included in the price. Return it and this is the cheaper cartridge by a wide margin.
- Factory-New (CARTX-CCW102F) — a cartridge with no prior ownership. The return label is included but optional, and there is no core deposit to reclaim.
Before you order
- This fits the CCW100 and the CCW50 — one cartridge, both systems.
- It does not fit the CCW100 V1. That unit reached end of life in January 2023 and its CARTX-CCW101 cartridge is no longer supported. If your system is a white cabinet rather than the orange-and-blue unit, talk to us about a V2 upgrade before ordering.
- The CCW25 spa system takes a different cartridge — CCW25-CARTX.
- On the sustainable option, put the return label somewhere you will find it. The 180-day window is what gets your $100 back.
